In these times of significant challenge and change, many of us are reflecting on what really matters, and how we can live well in the midst of uncertainty. It’s becoming clear that when we rely on things that we can’t control and are subject to change, we feel insecure. So where can we find a reliable source of stability, and is this even possible?
In the approach offered here we explore what happens when we let go of our attempts to control or resist what’s happening and allow things to be as they are. We listen to what’s always, already here, beneath the inner and outer voices that keep us feeling stressed, inadequate and incomplete. We return home to natural awareness, an effortless way of being in which we’re more at ease with the turbulence in our lives and the world around us.
This is not a recipe for passivity but the foundation for a deeper engagement with life. When our lives are infused by natural awareness, we respond creatively to what situations need. We are less at the mercy of external conditions, so we feel more secure, and can contribute more effectively to the good of the whole. We can fully embrace the beauty and the heartache of existence, and discover ways of being that respond to the challenges of our times.
I offer courses and one-to-one sessions in Cambridge and online that provide a space to reconnect with natural awareness. My approach is warm, inclusive, experiential and secular. Whether you are new to this, a seasoned explorer, or somewhere in between, I look forward to welcoming you.
Hi, my name is Luke Wreford, welcome to my website. I’ve been teaching mindfulness since 2014, and I’m now offering a synthesis of the most direct and effective ways I have found to realise our innate capacities for clarity, wellbeing and wise action.
What I learned on the course is subtly changing my everyday life, which is rather wonderful, and enabling me to live more acceptingly, flexibly and consciously
Liza
